Kajlos is software that runs on your computer. Most of what it does never leaves your PC. This page explains exactly what may be sent, when, and why.

Who is responsible for your data

No analytics and no cookies

This website uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies. We do not track visitors to this site.

Sent by default (you can opt out)

Redacted application crash reports and basic technical health data (P0/P1 — no names, paths or other personal data). You can turn this off in the app settings.

Sent only with your consent

Incident reports (what was checked and what was found), automatic repair outcomes, and AI analysis. A preview is shown before every report is sent.

AI-assisted analysis

If you turn on AI analysis, a redacted description of the problem is sent to one of the following providers: Tencent Hunyuan (Hy3) or Z.ai GLM, via the OpenRouter service. This only happens with your explicit consent.

Remote status

Remote status lets you check on a device from the Kajlos portal without sitting in front of it. It is off by default and only ever sent with your explicit consent.

What is sent

A device status snapshot: app version, update channel, Windows build and edition, display language, uptime, open incidents, recent repairs, and a few coarse health fields (for example, whether disk space is low). Nothing else.

What is never included

This snapshot never includes your device or computer name, your username, file paths, IP addresses, MAC addresses, Wi-Fi network names (SSIDs), hardware serial numbers, or free-text content.

Who can see it

Only you, signed in to the Kajlos portal as the account owner, and Kajlos staff when helping with a support request.

How long it is kept

Remote status data is kept for 30 days and then deleted.

How to turn it off

Turn off the "Remote status" toggle in the app, unlink the device from your account, or delete the device from the Kajlos portal. Any of these stops future snapshots being sent.

Never leaves your computer

Screen recordings, document contents, and any secrets (passwords, keys) — Kajlos never sends these anywhere.

Data retention

Beta data is deleted after the beta programme ends unless you separately ask us to keep it. Exact retention periods will be confirmed before the public launch.

Your rights

If you are in Ukraine, Ukraine's Law on Personal Data Protection applies to your data. If you are in the EU, GDPR applies — you have the right to access, correct and delete your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@kajlos.com.
